What Pietas is
Everything Pietas sells was built for Bennett before it was built for anyone else. It got made because we needed it, used in a real school year, and fixed where it didn't work.
Pietas is the old Latin word for devotion — to God, to family, to the work you've been given. That's the whole hope of it: not a perfect school day, but a house pointed the right way.
“This won't fix your child. Nothing printed on paper can — and anyone who promises it will is selling you something.”
That line is on the first page of the first guide, and it's the reason to trust the rest of it.

It's 11am and you're still on the second subject. There have been tears. The lesson was never the hard part — the getting through it is.
A lot of that fight isn't the child. It's the shape of the day. When a kid can't see where the day begins, where it ends, or that finishing is even possible, every subject feels like an open-ended argument. So they push.
The Day Path hands the map to the kid. You set the stops. He moves his own marker and watches the finish line get closer — and because the finish line doesn't move, the fighting stops working.
